Harper , traveled from Arizona to Eureka with his family in a Ford ModelT to settle and begin his Ford dealership in downtown Eureka , located approximately miles north of San Francisco.Today, greatgrandson Trevor Harper oversees the operation that has been serving the North Coast for over years. The dealership is located between the cities of Eureka and Arcata on Highway along Californias scenic north coast. Harper Motors trademark Alan Herschell carousel is visible from the freeway.
